Richland Fire Station 73 consists of 10,500 SF constructed using the progressive design-build delivery. The fire station consists of dorm rooms, Day rooms, full kitchens, exercise rooms, police offices, and apparatus bays, along with decontamination areas. The site had more challenges due to the 24” city of Richland water main running thru the site that had to be relocated. Station 73 site also sits on a BPA power line easement that requires specific clearances which made the design of the site challenging.
