Dick graduated in June of 1975 with a degree in Civil Engineering from Montana State University. 46+ years in the construction industry beginning as an estimator with George A. Grant, Inc. Dick advanced to president of George A. Grant, Inc. in 1996 and ran the day to day operations until the company was wound down after the death of founder, George Grant. Dick started DGR Grant Construction, Inc. with Tim Doyea and Jennifer Grillo in 2010, and was president of the company until 2016 when he felt it was time to step down and work a little less. Over the years Dick has served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Tri-City Construction Council, the YMCA of the Lower Columbia Basin, the Inland Northwest Chapter of the Associated General Contractors, and the Richland Rotary Club. Dick is currently serving as Treasurer of the Richland Rotary Club.
Dick’s days consist of estimating and proposal preparation.
Away from the office, Dick enjoys working on projects around the house, watching sports, occasional game of golf with friends. Dick also has a passion for his grandkids and refereeing youth hockey.
